Anthony,
The rosette is pink ivory with sap wood-I call it the "tequilla sunrise".
The top is Carpathian spruce I got from Steve at Colonial Tonewood at the ASIA symposium -it has a great tap tone.

Very nice looking box! And a great use of pink ivory/sapwood. I wish I had thought of that. Come to think of I could use that in a classical I'm planning. My theme is going to be Pacific Coast.... Brad--I am referring to the fact that it is an excellent label. It is elegant, it is refined. Tasteful and beautiful. It has a commanding presence, yet is not overwhelming in its presentation. It bespeaks quality, and does so with confidence.

It is the perfect compliment to Brazilian rosewood, and I would love to put one of those labels on one of MY guitars!

Yes, my webmaster has done a great job with designing and maintaining my site.
He was originally a customer and this will be the fourth "Goodman" he owns.
As far as his playing ability-well..
Most guitars that I have sold have gone to people that really enjoy playing-rarely have they been really "great" players.

I am not sure what to use for the finish on this guitar.
I have finished all my instruments with nitro lacquer up to this point.
On this one I am going to use either french polish or varnish,or a combination of the two.

Steve,
Here is a close-up of my label.
I had a graphic designer friend design it and we printed them with a laser printer on parchment type paper.
You may notice that I DO call myself a Luthier-although this may cause a "firestorm"-in my heart of hearts I feel that I have earned this "rank".
